Extended bidding

Every lot has a scheduled closing time. If any user is placing a bid at the last minute then the end date for that lot will extend to the next few minutes. These will be managed by the admin. 

Admin will have below options to edit. 

• Minimum Time Limit for Extension Bidding – This is the time the lot will extend if any users place a bid. 
• Extend Timing for Extension Bidding – This is the time, how long the end time should extend. 
• Maximum Count for Extension Bidding – How many times the extended bidding should work. 

For example: 

Minimum Time Limit for Extension Bidding- 2 mins

Extend Timing for Extension Bidding – 5 mins

Maximum Count for Extension Bidding – 2 times

• Lot scheduled to close at 6:30 p.m.
• Bid placed at 6:29 p.m.
• New closing time is 6:34 p.m.
• Bid placed at 6:32 p.m.
• New closing time is 6:37 p.m.
• Bid placed at 6:36 p.m.
• Item closes at 6:37 p.m. (Because extended count is 2)
